Strategies for Survival

I, Audio Tour

Une Fleuve Maudit

Life has evolved an infinite number of strategies for survival – by two common, but oft times conflicting definitions, humanity is no more than a strategy evolved by mitochondria or God.

In this exhibit a number of artists have given form to strategies for survival, their work united by a curator stipulated strategy – that the works exist within the framework of a 13” x 13” x 48” tall pedestal. This strategy makes the works mobile, easily displayable and hence, marketable.

The artists involved include Forever What? America’s Most Important Conceptual Band, Randolph Carter, Duke Lee and Lee Pembleton.
