Celebration: To Have Done With The Judgement Of God

To Have

To Have Done With The Judgement Of God was the last work of the incredible artist, writer and performer Antonin Artaud. He is one of the many artists who profoundly touched us. And he was one of the artists who brought The MVM together. A shared passion for artists like Artaud was the inspiration for us to found The MVM and together embark on projects like Celebration For Outliving Christ.

Here is a link to the original, recorded by Artaud just months before his death in 1948. The link also contains a great deal of information about the piece.

We can not honestly say that we are proud of this work. We do not feel that we captured Artaud. All we can say is that we tried our best at the time. Since then UDV has recorded a second version which can be found here. We like it much more. And we look forward to recording the piece over and over in the coming years with UDV.

The seven copies of To Have Done With The Judgement Of God were sent to seven radio stations that played important roles in our lives.
