Elegy was our first fully successful foray into horspiel, a unique German descendant of the radio play. Elegy was designed to stand on its own as a piece of composed music, as a "silent" horspiel and as the backing music to an operetta.

Over the years we have worked and reworked the libretto, but have yet to find the perfect language for communicating what the music expresses. For now it is still an operetta in the future only.

Elegy tells a story. You will forgive us if we choose not to spell it our here. The story it tells you will no doubt be different from the one it tells us. And we'd much rather here your story than tell our own.
