Celebration: Baptism

Baptism was intended to be a book-end for Elegy. It is another horspiel. Ultimately, we're not sure what really happened with it. Like To Have Done With The Judgement Of God, we have reservations about making it available online. It has been nearly six years and we have yet to finish Baptism. This is the first mix. Parts of it we adore. Parts make us cringe. There have been many edits over the years, from a compact 13 minutes up to this monster, the longest version, we think.

Baptism samples liberally from all the compositions that came before it. And it includes a cover of one of the greatest musicians ever, Liz Phair. She's one of our heroes. Though only coincedence, The MVM offices in SF are said (by a friend of hers that we know) to be a former residence of Ms Phair. She's a fucking superstar and we like to think it rubbed off on our ethereal and esoteric doings in her former abode.

Here it is, Baptism, only because N. Senada taught us that sometimes fruit may seem a bit green to the farmer, but a completist's work is never done.
