Installed in Tribeca, Banks Remixed was the MVM ’s visual and aural remix of Banks Violette’s untitled installation at the Whitney. Surreptitiously audio and video recording the piece from a position at one end of a gallery for several hours, we remixed the sound and created an installation of our own.

Casting a replica in chocolate of the burnt out cathedral which Banks had cast in salt, we projected the video we had shot atop the construction while a composition crafted from the Whitney field recording played.
