23 Entryways Home

23 Entryways Into My Mind is a series of installations begun on September 7, 2000. Each installation offers others an opportunity to step out of their own minds and into mine. The series is, like many of the works comprising it, a project expected to last my lifetime.
23 Entryways Into My Mind is an exploration of how human beings understand identity, their own and others. In what ways we can define who a human being is. In this case The MVM will spend my life exploring ways in which others might be able to try and understand what might constitute my identity.

Portal 4: A Desperate Bid for Immortality is composed of time capsules I will bury for the remainder of my life. 5 time capsules are buried each year, all in different locations.

The contents vary throughout the year. Each August, for instance, I back-up every byte of data on every hard drive I own (currently 4 TB, 560 GB) and bury the back-ups. As well, each edition of Portal 2 published will be buried. Genetic material is buried regularly, as well.
Every time capsule is buried with GPS co-ordinates to the previous capsules, and detailed instructions on how to recreate me from the material provided.

In the future when excerpts from Portal 4 are dug up, I will be cloned, re-enacted, and uploaded into AI cyborgs.
Ideally, hundreds or thousands of me may someday walk the Earth
